Every desktop computer I have ever seen uses a standard 15 Amp IEC 320 inlet for their AC Mains power inlet.

What is the full model number of your Sony Vaio desktop computer and in what country are you located?

 

3-prong desktop power cords are pretty much interchangeable from one desktop to another.
I have several of them in my parts box, just in case myself or someone else needs one for a desktop.
The one that Chuck linked you to should work fine.
