Computer Personal computer Touchpad Netbook Laptop

Please Help.Have this Sony Vaio laptop since 7 years. It does not have battery, works with power supply directly from adapter. Has windows 8.1.Works totally awesome. 1 hour ago, went into disc repair and then this grey screen. Tried switching on and off from mains a couple of times, still not loading up. Any solution? Maybe any setting with BIOS?

Could be a corrupted hard drive. Or even that the hard drive is failing. What is the model of that viao?
