Hi I looking for some advice.

I am looking to get a Sony Camera, It has to be a Sony because I have a 256MB memory stick I want to make use off which i brought for my PDA. Could anyone tell me if any other manufacturer accepts memory stick on there cameras.

I am looking at a 3.2, 3* optical zoom, movie mode with sound. these are the necessitys that I need. Not too fussed about anything else.Does anyone recommend anything. I live in the UK, Does anyone recommended any good camera retailers, either internet based or store based.

I not too fussed if its an old model. I been looking at the Sony P8/Sony P12 on the new models side and the Sony P7 and P9 on Ebay as these are the older discontinued models.

Not looking to go over £180.

Any suggestions would be great.

Memory sticks are nearly only used by Sony. Some Konica cameras use secure digital and memory sticks (dual slotted), but the choices are limited and not within your price range. Nothing wrong with sony cameras though. This deal looks good, normally over £200 for this camera.

Stick with the Sony. My opinion is that they have the best electronics. I have a DCP-52 and I LOVE IT. I mount the camera to my motorcycle and take video on the drag strip and the mountain roads. It records 640x480 MPEG's. I then use "FREE" windows movie maker 2 to chop it up and edit it. The pictures are awesome too. Mine is a 3.2MP with 2x optical. I've used and abused mine and it works like new.
