Where can I download a start up disk showing these files ( Boot.ini,NTLDR,Ntdetect )or where can I find these files in the Root Directory ? I've tried
search in windows to no avail, even though I allow
hidden files to be shown. Need some guidance...
OS XP Home SP2.

In Folder Options uncheck 'Hide protected operating system files'.

In order to find two files I did as you suggested,
but with (Boot.ini),I had to go to search and check
show hidden files and folders and found it.
