I am trying to set my paper size to A5 portrait. On screen the paper size is a non-standard size wider than A5, although the margins and line lengths are set to the appropriate/correct paper size. Every setting shows A5, except on screen it displays as this other, wider paper. From a design point of view if makes it unworkable. Can you help me?
Am running Vista and using Word 2007.

Open Word 2007.
In the ribbon at top, click the View tab.
Now click Print Layout at far left end of ribbon.
Thanks but no, that did not work. It still showed the strange paper size but correct margins (ie with a hugely wide margin on one side, even in the print preview). However when I opened a new doc and set the page at A5 it was fine, so I have now copied the old doc from the strange size to the correct size.

I think it must have been because I started the doc in A4 and then changed to A5 which must have confused it!

What I suggested was the answer is not. I think this is: I have been using the Comments in balloons and the extra space that I thought was extra page is to accommodate them on screen. Even when I delete all the balloons the space remains.
No doubt there is a way to show which is page and which Comment space, I haven't found it yet. .
