I just bought a new computer. I bought the last one three years ago, but maybe things have changed in that time. All of my previous computers have had an ethernet port AND places to plug in two regular phone cords. This one has ONLY the ethernet port. On the spec sheet it says it has an "integrated ethernet port."
Does this mean they have done away with the need for regular phone cords? I can't find the answer ANYWHERE (including the HP support site) so I must be the last person on the planet to find out about this.
I'm using my old computer until I find out whether I failed to order the proper components for my new computer, or if it will go online using ONLY the ethernet cord.
Can somebody clue me in on this? Thank you!
