Hi,

I have been having alot of trouble lately. Every time I try to click on a site I get an unable to connect message, if I go back and try again it usually goes through the third or fourth time clicking the link.

This is happening with every site. I am running windows ME. I have tried disabling Norton, running ccleaner, all spyware utilities and nothing helps.

My computer is also very slow.

Any ideas

Thanks
Kelly

Are you using a modem, or modem/router config? And is it 'always on' for connection etc?
Have you de-fragged your drive lately, and done a general clean-up of the system?

also, is it a particular site, or all?

hi.

I am running a modem/router combination. I defragged about 3 days ago and yes I did a system clean up. I am running wireless to a laptop.
It has taken me about 30 minutes just to reply to this post I have to keep hitting the back button and retrying, so sorry if There are double posts.

It is very frustrating. This just started about 5 days ago. I thought maybe if I downloaded firefox browser it would make a difference but it did not the same thing happens on both browsers. pages also load incredibly slow, they take about 5 minutes to load completly

thanks

Hi ,
Just to let you know I solved this one. My son got a new webcam, for christmas and he was leaving it on all the time when he went out. It seemed to affect the wireless network.

Thanks,
Kelly
