I'm backing up data to CD-R disks, using Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.

I'm given the options of UDF102 or ISO-9660.

I would like to be able to read the disks from multiple optical drives.

Which standard do you suggest that I use?

I forgot to mention that I will use the disk in PCs running W98, W 2000 & W XP.

Does that alter your answer?

Why do you recommend ISO?

Easy Media Creator 7
Imation CD-R disks
Windows XP SP1, NTFS

When I tried to create a data disk, but I am informed that I must limit file & folder names to 8 characters.

I think I used ISO.
