ok I have created a subdomain tv.mydomain.com and I want to be able to use ftp access to just the tv part, so I setup a ftp account with the username: (something) and password: (something)

Now to login my ftp I need,

host:
username:
password:

now whats teh correct format ftp.tv.domain.com or just tv.domain.com? I dunno, I need help

Maybe they dont allow subdomain FTP?

Why not try

host: yourdomain
username: yourusername
password: yourpass
startupfolder: yoursubdomain folder (tv)

Can you FTP to other sites, such as ftp.mcafee.com ?

Another thing to check is that ports 20 and 21 are open on the firewall (port 20 for authentication, port 21 for data)

OK, I got it fixed, i have to add two users for each site so that at http://getmyfreehosting.com the users can get their free webspace with access to their only directory and no-one elses, well at least it works :D#
