Has anyone got any ideas why after about 2 days my sound goes very low. I am on xp pro running 1 gig of ram with firewall and avg running--------as soon as i reboot pc i get full back -motherboard is asus a7v400mx with on board sound

Yes-It normally goes low after about 2 days but after re-boot its all fine again for another 2 days

do you think you could be infected?

can you make it louder when i goes low?

all scans an hijack log are clear ill think ill just continue to putup with as its been going on for about a year thanx for your input though
