I would like to know how to send a .pps through e-mail with music included. My dad has sent me his .pps (that originally has a song), but when i get it everything works perfectly except for the song..its just NOT playing.
I have also heard about sending the song file along with the .pps, but it is not what we expect to do.
So if anyone can help me in solving this problem so my dad can send .pps with music included I will be very grateful.
Thanks

The short answer is that a sound file has to be a.WAV file in order to be included within a PowerPoint file. Anything else will need to be a separate file that is linked to the PowerPoint file

"Sound files need to be in .wav format to embed them in a presentation."

The down side is that WAV files are usually much larger than MP3 or WMA files for the same music. Your other option might be to use Package for CD (PowerPoint 2003) or Pack and Go Wizard (PowerPoint 2002) to put the presentation and all needed linked files into a single folder on the PC.

They can then be zipped into a single file for e-mailing. All recipients would need to unzip the file before being able to play the presentation.
