First let me say sorry, i may be in the wrong section but here goes I have game problems and i trying to send information about my computer to the game company and they want me to send them a copy of my task manager processing and i dont know how to paste it to my word document . instruction they gave me is - go to task manager go to tab processes then press print screen one time then paste the clipboard image into open email . well i do all that except i dont get any clip board image. I know but i'm slow can you help
I have a dell e310 Windows XP pro

Open the Task Manager then click on Processes tab. Hold the Alt key and press Prnt Scrn key. Go to Start> Accessories> MS Paint. When Paint opens, click Edit> Paste. This will paste the image in Paint. You can either save as then select jpeg on the file type drop down and save it to the hard drive. Or you can select Edit> Copy in paint, open your email, new message. Click the the body of the message, right click and select paste and the image should paste in the message.

they cant link thru the icons about other stuff on my computer can they
I am not sure I understand the question. If you mean your print screen image of the Desktop icons sent in email, no. That is an image and not your Desktop. If you have set up a remote access, then they can, but you would know if you did that.

I wasn't sure, thanks for the info, your great, you know, now that i know your there. I'm not gonna leave you alone L.O.L :) :)..O i got a anouther one. Whats A Clean BOOT.
The game company wants me to do a clean boot to see why i can't install EARTH 2160
The first EARTH 2160 Would install just about all the first disc then freeze, so i bought anouther EARTH 2160 And the second freezes right off the bat on the first disc. Anyways they wanna see a clean boot-? THANKS AUGIE65
