Hi

I am going to re-format a friends computer who is running Microsoft Outlook 2000 as his email program.

I need to be able to save all the folders (inbox, contacts, sent items etc) and "add" them back onto the rebuilt windows installation.

Can anyone advise me if this can be done by burning to a cd / dvd etc and where the folders are located.

Many thanks

Swanny

I just did this for transferring Outlook info from my old computer to my new one. Do a search for a file with the extension .pst and copy it to the CD. After reformatting and reinstalling Outlook, you can import the file.
