I started to install Windows XP on a computer with Windows 98 on it but decided not to complete the installation. Now when I boot up I have to make a choice between booting into Windows XP or Windows 98 even though Win XP is not installed. How can I remove the choice of Win XP so the computer will just boot into Windows 98 like it used to?

I looked at the instructions on the link you gave me and followed them. I booted from the Win9X Startup Disk, at the A: prompt I typed fdisk /mbr. Nothing happened onscreen but the A: prompt came back up and I type in sys c:
I got the message that said it was a bad command.
What did I do wrong?
