How do I tell the speed of the RAM on my laptop along with it can be upgraded too? Its a Dell Inspiron 2200 with Win XP SP2 on it. I checked in device manager but didnt see anything? Any help would be great.
Click here and download SIW (System Infomation for Windows). It will tell you what you are running now. Select the SIW standalone and there will be no install process. Just download and launch.
As to what you CAN run, clickhere let crucial tell you what you can do. I suggest you use SIW to get the motherboard make and model use that instead of the auto scan tool. Thats where you select the 3 steps (mfr, product line and model). I've recently had some bad info using the scan tool and do not trust it anymore.
