i'm running windows 98se and after i've put it into standby mode eg;START SHUTDOWN,STANDBY ,OK. pc goes into standby but when i move the mouse to wake it up, it wakes but the screen stays black with a small line in the top left of the screen which flashes and then does not start up or return to where it was before standby.i have to shut it down to restart.before it used to return to the desktop and operate as normal.WHY?
