I am helping a friend with a web site and I wanted to know why my link to a pdf is not working. I have done a publish to my computer from Publisher and it all works. BUT when I do a publish to the web the link comes up like file//d:\my documents\blahblahblah... How can I get the link to know where the correct location is after I publish it to web. Any help would be very good. I published the site off my computer and the link is looking right where I expect it to on my local drive, I know this is wrong.

site is: http://members.cruzio.com/~bigcreekranch/

Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance

I tried your link and I was able to open the Entry Form pdf. Not sure if that is the one you were talking about but that works fine.

To surfnschultz:
Your link is fine, but here is something to consider,
under win 98 all the viewer will be able to do is download
your pdf then open under acrobat reader, wont see it in browser.
But the good news if they have winme, wnnt, win2000, winxp then
the user will be able to view under browser if they down load the
latest version of acrobat reader. There are some technical reasons
for this quirk but there to many to mention without writing a book
on the subject. And remember if you goto tech support chances are
they will give you the 3 minute political republican/democrat shuffle
and never answer your question. The reason is that the tech support
is setup by supervisors who teach the 3rd party software shuffle then
goodbye. Its just the way things are so don't get to upset.
So I hope this helps, web site looks great to. Flixx
