I don't understand what is going on with this every time I try to go to it I get this message
This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the information at the Microsoft web site.
I have tried rolling back driver that just made it disapear I also tried reinstalling. I am still gettting that message every time any clues?

It worked fine before. I have win xp home and I tried reinstalling both 10 and 11 no luck on either it is strange I dont even understand what Happened I havent used it in a while.

If you have the XPHome CD handy you can try this

Click Start then Run and type sfc /scannow and click OK and let it run.....it may ask you for the XPHome CD if it finds some system files missing

If that doesn't work try this

Currently it appears that wmploc.dll in C:\Windows\System32 is the file causing hell for some users while trying to WMP 10. The solution might be rather simple, navigate to C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 and copy wmploc.dll to C:\Windows\System32. Now, run the WMP 10 installer again and see what you get.
