I have an older computer with windows me that I got for free - I will be updating to a better system next year, but in the meanwhile have to make the best of what I have and it works fine for getting online. My problem - I had a power outage here about a month ago. When I turned the computer back on, a popup window appeared saying that the display driver file was missing and that I should fix it. I always had to restart the computer to resize the display window size, and the images like photos appeared graphically rather than an actual photo image. I tried downloading another driver but looks like I mistakenly downloaded a graphics driver instead and now cannot adjust the display size to a larger resolution anymore from the display settings window (slider does not work at all). Popup window no longer appears but still stuck in the "graphic mode". I'm sure there may be a simple solution to fix this, but not for me anyway. Everything appears once again in a graphic mode so cannot see photos in a realistic manner. Screen sometimes flashes when downloading or viewing images. Any help appreciated. New here and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all ...
