Phew! What a relief to find you - I've already been helped in the discussion area for the following :
I've been finally cleaning up my computer .. have found no information on these things that load automatically on startup: PINGAXISOOZE.exe (in documents/applic/warnme & fljasl.exe(in sys.32).
How can I get the rest of the crap listed in sys. startup that I have disabled but still sits there in the list?
What about this message that I have an unplugged network cable, when my local area connection 1 is all I thought I needed?
How to get hp deskjet to stop showing up on the tray - loading automatically?
Now, the big question: I have booted up with selective startup to deal with the unwanted items loading automatically - when it asks me to restart to effect the changes everything comes back on, even though I have unchecked it in startup when I run msconfig. Then the whole viscious circle starts all over - grrrr. Do I have to always start-up in the selective startup, and continually get the message "must restart....."
Thank you!

I forgot to ad, in my 1st message, that I downloaded NoAdware.net in the midst of the cleanup - is it reputable? Could it be loading adware when I reboot, having de-selected previous adware??

You appear to be infected

SpywareBlaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
AdAware SE http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html
SpyBot S&D 1.3 http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/

DL them (they are free), install them, check each for their
definition updates
and then run AdAware and Spybot, fixing anything
they say.

In SpywareBlaster - Always enable all protection after updates
SpyBot - After an update run immunize and make sure teatimer is enabled

Do these before the next step.

Then get HiJack This http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html, put
it in a permanent folder, run it , DO NOT fix anything, post the
log here.
