I am trying to watch some video clips but wmp shows nothing except the visualization and sound. I had installed the wmp9 codec but it doesnt fix the problem. Anyone has any idea how to solve this problem beside upgrading to wmp 10? Thank you.

It would appear you still need the correct codec. What type of file are you trying to play?

Its codec problem. download this pack: Klite Codec Pack. Its got all the video and audio codecs like divx, xvid, WM codecs, DVD codecs.... u'll ever need to watch video and play music. go here: http://a1.edskes.com/k/klcodec234f.exe
