Alright, so the hubby wants the PC attached to the TV. Im suppose to be his "Puter Genius" but I know my limits. So im Updateing a Compaq Presario running XP. I've figured out that I need a new video card, and thats going to be a Geforce 8500GT. Now that hardware says minimum i need a 350watt power supply. Now, without actualy tearing into the tower and pulling everything apart just yet cause I havent bought the new video card and dont want to lose parts, how can I tell what wattage is currently running in that machine? Its never been tampered with, so its all factory sealed and such.

Also, would anyone know if re-installing the sound drivers should fix a slow sounding card? (Sounds like the batteries almost dead in a tape player, plays really slow) If not, then I guess Im in need of a new sound card. Thanks for any info in advance!!

NEVER MIND GOT IT its 250 watt! Thanks though!! will be posting in other spots! ^_^
