Solved: My printer doesn't print out the document......help me

I installed the software of the printer successfully.
But, I want to print out the document from Work, it will need me to type the password or file name....
before a week ago,The printer can print out the paper successfully.

Can someone help me??:confused::confused:

I believe your place of work requires everyone who wants to print something must have a password to use the printer. You may need to contact the administrator in your work to give you a password.

Indeed, the printer may need "accounting" or "department codes" which are pretty standard on business class printers such as Xerox's, Panasonics, etc. You definitely should talk to the person in charge of IT.

"Please install supported driver or port"

what's a port?
I want to print out my homework. It is so urgent. Help!

What printer are you trying to install? What version of Windows? Is this at home, school, or work? You're not giving us a lot of information and we don't have telepathic abilities.

I installed the Samsung ML-1660 Series.My windows version is Win7 64bit SP1.

It is my desktop at home, not at work as well as at school.

I installed two driver from above-mentioned site.But, it can't success to print out the document.

Also,how can i find the Printer IP address?
Help!!!

How is the printer connected to the computer? The ML-1660 appears to be a USB printer with no network connectivity so it wouldn't have an IP address.

I plug the USB into USB3.0.
The messages showed as below,
"USB Printer status is not available"

Uninstall ALL the Samsung software using "Programs & Features" in the "Control Panel", unplug the printer from the computer, and delete any and all Samsung printers from the "Devices & Printers" if still there and reboot. Now install ONLY this ONE driver, not two, from Samsung: http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.c...111155834296/SamsungUniversalPrintDriver2.exe
Now plug the printer back in and wait for the drivers install.

I plug it into USB2.0. It is work. I can print out my homework.

This is related to USB 3.0 or USB2.0 problem?

You may not have USB 3.0 drivers installed. What is the model number of the computer you have?

FYI, you should use the printer in a USB 2.0 port anyways, there's no benefit in using USB 3.0 for a printer.

I have installed USB3.0 driver as below,
Intel USB3.0eXtensible Host Controller Driver
Why can I not use the USB3.0 for Printer?
Can this Printer connect to usb3.0 successfully?

the question 2 is back of the computer.

the question 1 is my motherboard is ASUS VANGUARD B85. I3 CPU without display card.
128GB SSD, 500GB HDD, LG DVD. Is that? If not.....I hope...:(:(

My kb , mouse and Printer can't work when I was plugging the USB into USB3.0,expect my speaker.:(:(

The printer only specifies that it needs a USB 2.0 and may not be compatible with USB 3.0
