I'm trying to run a game program and I'm getting the error message saying, " The Midi driver for your sound card cannot be found. This program requires a Midi driver to be properly installed on your system. Please read your sound card's documentation to install the appropriate sound drivers."

My sound card is working normally. The sound on my computer works.

How do I fix this problem?

System:Windows XP.

What game?

Some older games will not run on modern sound chipsets for this very reason.

It's an educational game:

Leap Ahead!
3rd Grade

It sais on the disk that it's for Windows 95 and For Windows 3.1 and for Macintosh.

The old 16 bit programs usually will not run for that reason, the MIDI support is just not in the new systems as it was expected in the old games.
