I already posted this query in another area and was directed here. My anti virus software tells me that i have the JS_FORTNIGHT.M trojan, about every 10 minutes it will pop up and tell me it has been cleaned from my computer, this also happens to be the first thing i see when i start up as well, obviously it is not getting cleaned out. I dont know if it is this virus that is messing my computer up or what. Internet explorer does not work properly, it freezes when trying to work and loads "http:///" every time even if i change the home page. Other application like i tunes or AOLIM freeze when i try to log on or get data from the internet. THe only way i can get the internet to work is going through the "start menu" then through the search function. I need some help here. This is really frusterating.

This is what i have donme so far:
i have used spyware blaster, spybot search and destroy, CWShredder and Ad Aware. I also have PC-cillin running as antovirus (since my 1 year norton ran out). I also posted my hijackthis log which i was told is in order. If someone can help it would be much appreceated.

View Hidden Files
Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

Delete this file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\mspdnx.dll

Boot and post a new log

just to be sure, i shoould go into regedit and change to the appropriate things you typed? also, did you mean that iesdsg.dll is missing in general, like i need to find it or, it is just missing in the text? also, what is the R0 and R1 mean...i dont know what to do or the location of the following:

Run HJT and scan only

Click the box to the left of those entries and when done click fix checked

i did as you said...guess what, everything works! computers can be very frusterating sometimes and its really nice to have them cooperate time and time again. I really appreciate all the help you have given me. Here is my new hijack log anyways:
