Hi all. I have a PC that is normally connected wireless.
In order to upgrade my router fireware I need to connect by hard wire.
When I try this my pc reports an IP address conflict, which is strange as nothing else is connected. Wireless connection disabled. Windows also reports something like no adapter present.
I've tried 'ipconfig /release' then 'ipconfig /renew' without success.
Any idea guys.

Are you sure you dont have a static ip set on that computer.

I did'nt have static but I did have my PC with the wrong IP. OOPS
