Firstly, thanks for the Happy Birthday e-mail, its a small thing but very much appreciated.

Now to the problem. When clicking on the results of a search using Google, or any other engine, I get redirected to various search sites, I usually get to the intended site on the third attempt. This does not occur when typing in web address in the address bar.

Am using IE 7.0.5730.11, Spybot 1.4, Ad-Aware Se personal 1.06r1, and NIS 2007, all are fully updated and find nothing when performing complete scans.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hijack log follows.

Kind regards

Grey Hunter

Hi guys,

After some independent research on my part, on this site and others, I tried the Fixwareout solution, and this has worked.

Having scrutinised my own HJT log, I have found that there are are number of questions I will have to ask my family regarding websites visited, and will clearly need to install some restrictions.

Many thanks, this log is closed!
