The problem i am getting is when im on IE 6.0 and i rightclick on a link and open in new window the new window just stays blank, even on some sites when you want to download somthing it will open it in a new window.. well i cant do it.. i'v tried reinstalling IE and even reinstalling Windows XP not having any of it

please help me som1.

Please do this. Click here: http://www.sherrylynn.us/HijackThis.exe to download Hijack This. Save it to its own folder (not temporary files or the desktop).
Close all open windows and open HIJACK THIS. Click Scan. When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to Save Log. Click on Save Log and save it to NotePad. Copy the entire log and paste it here.

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET, most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed. Wait for someone to analyze the scan and advise.

There is definitely some viral activity in your log. For instance, this entry put there by the W32.ogid virus:

O4 - Startup: DC++.lnk = C:\Program Files\DC++\DCPlusPlus.exe

Don't do anything until an expert can analyse the log for you and advise. I'm sure there's other stuff. I will request that this thread be moved over to the Security forum.
