If you are in Lop hell then u got it here - Messenger Plus! 3

Remove it via add remove programs as well as all Occurrences of Viewpoint

Lop Uninstaller at this link

DL http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm

Close all browser windows and run the uninstaller.

Print this and boot to safe mode (Start tapping F8 at the first black screen after power up)
Fix these with HJT

I am in safe mode. I ran hijack this. I cannot find the following items in safe mode to fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [MessengerPlus3] "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe"

All others are there and check marked. Where do I find the above two missing entries?

so if I understand this correctly, do nothing in safe mode, return to normal mode, then carry on with all of the above instructions including "view hidden files" "delete these folders" and the "start-run, etc"? I will try what you say!

I followed through with all the above instructions. When deleting folders I could not find the Program Files\Messenger Plus!3 folder to delete. So I just deleted the other two. Here is my new hijack plus log:
