hi,

Is there a way of fixing the way the images displays in IE6, when I tested it in Firefox and Opera, it displays fine, why are there always problems with IE?
This is the link http://www.photorestorationexpert.co.uk/gallery/index.php
Here is the html and css
Code:
 <div id="outerBoxA">
  <div class="positioningPhoto">
  <div class="box_item2">
  <img src="../images/greatwallofchina_original.jpg" width="475" height="153" border="0" alt="restoring photograph of the Great Wall of China before" />
  <br />Before</div>

<div class="box_item2">
  <img src="../images/greatWallofChinaAfter.jpg" width="475" height="152" border="0" alt="restoring photograph of the Great Wall of China" /><br />After  </div>

  <div class="box_item2A"><img src="../images/rickshaw_before.jpg" width="427" height="275" border="0" alt="photograph of rickshaw that needs restoring" /><br />Before</div>
  </div>

<div class="spacer">
  <div class="box_item2H">
  <img src="../images/rickshawAfter.jpg" width="427" height="254" border="0" alt="restored photo of rickshaw" /><br />After</div>
  </div>
</div>
</div>

This is the CSS

#outerBoxA {
	border-color:#859DAC;
	border-width:1px;
	border-style:solid;
	width:625px;
	height:1065px;
	font-size:1.0em;
	margin:5px 30px 0 10px;
	margin-left:3%;
}

.positioningPhoto {
	display:block;
	width:500px;
	height:400px;
	padding:0 0 0 55px;
}

.box_item2 {
	float: left;
	margin:15px 0 10px 10px;
	font-size:1.0em;
	font-family:"Century Gothic";
	text-align:center;
}

div.spacer {
	clear: both;
}
Thanks

Hello
What is the problem you are seeing, is it the gutter area of the images or something else?

IE causes problems for a few reasons, all of which have been discussed in detail in these forums so lets concentrate on your site for now..

Cheers

I'm not seeing this in IE6 (Maxthon 2.0.8). Attached is a screenshot of what I'm seeing.
I believe that the image below that one is the problem image.

Hello, The only this I notice that you are using box_item2H and the H is perhaps a reserved character (for rendering?) for javascripts, perhaps try changin the H to a different letter or name (box_item2restored) for example.
