Keep getting repeditive detections of adware.quadrogram files, I have tried many programs to remove, but they can not get all of it out and it replicates. Have worked on this for two days - can someone help me please.

You have to be on-line and have at least one Internet Explorer window open.

Then come back and post another log.

Peper is still there so try this uninstaller

Just click on the uninst.exe and let it run. When it is finished it will just close. There will be no dialogue. Also you must be connected to the internet for the uninstaller to be effective.

Restart your computer and post a new HJT log.

i just tried to do this uninstaller, it closes by ie browser, then it stops half way through and closes. i even tried to open a second browser prior to running the uninstaller and my system won't open a second browswer now?

Spybot is supposed to fix that too so let's give that a try.

Make sure to follow the instructions for updates prior to running the scan.

Click on "Search For updates" After the search has completed, the available Updates will be listed. Choose which Updates you would like to Download. Click "Download updates." The Updates will self install. The screen will change and the program will come back and be ready to use.

Sometimes the default Download Location will produce an Error. If that happens, look in the right panel. There you will find a small arrow next to the name of the current Download site. Click on it for a list of alternate sites. One of those should be able to retrieve the files you have selected.

Scan, click on fix problems then reboot.

can't do it, i had uninstalled spy bot because it was acting unusual, now when i download and install it - it runs minimized and task manager says it isn't responding. i've downloaded it from three different sites with the same results. sometimes, i can see the title bar flash toward the center of the desk top then fade away. it's been the most of my entertainment today. spy sweeper is still pulling cookies after every run, but norton isn't finding anything anymore. at a lose and don't know how to proceed.

Okay new day, new attitude. I was finally able to get the browser to stay open when i ran the peper uninstaller yesterday. This morning, neither norton, nor spysweeper came up with anything (prior to opening any browsers). So I reran hijack this and here it is. What do you think?

history: someone was surfing the web saturday on my computer, monday when booted up it had a new toolbar and new program icon named vegasred casino, removed the toolbar and the casino program/icon and ran spybot and adaware 6, kept pulling up bits and pieces but nothing stayed off. installed norton and got repeated adware.quadrogram files being caught but never fully deleted, one file wouldn't delete at the end of each run and was a new name by the next run. still can't reinstall spybot, went as far as downloading one from another computer and dropping on the desktop by disk, it does the same minimized none functioning crap as yesterday. but norton and spysweep are finally coming up clean now.

Run HJT again and check:

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Bring up your task list and kill these if they are running. Then try and delete them. I suggest you empty that temp folder. If that does not work do it in safe mode. That temp folder is hidden so you will have to show all in files and folders

Open My Computer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab. Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"
