Solved: grub boot menu graphical screen and display issues

With a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04.1 and mutli-booting with XP and SUSE, all works fine except my grub boot loader is plain white text on black. So how do I add the Ubuntu grub splash image file, and then edit the grub menu.lst? Also my Dell LCD monitor connected DVI (digital) is not fully and correctly detected, as screen saver and power manager do not work right or at all. Is this in; /etc/X11/Xorg.conf ? Thanks

I found out how and where to install a grub splash image file and edit the menu.lst file. And then I just finished fully installing the NVIDIA video driver which fixed my LCD display issues.
