I've had this ad pop up at a couple of different forums at TSG. It's a two part ad, first part is Virus Alert, then a GIF simulating a System Check.

Does anyone know where this ad is coming from?

I'll have to wait until I see it again. I was trying to get the screen shots then it disappears. I saw it a couple of times last week in the hardware forum, today in Tech Related forum.

When you see bad ones from Google, feel free to report them here, but also click on the "Ads by Google" logo so you can report them directly to Google. (I know for sure that Google wouldn't allow that Microsoft ad on other sites, either.) Thanks!! :)

my NOD32 blocks the site with the message:

Description:
Access to the web page was blocked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content

On the link I posted in post #7 and the other two links KnightTemplar posted
NOD32 doesn't block them.

NOD32 shows the address of the blocked link as 74.55.158.58:80

Yeah, we're waiting for the zsecurity one to get tracked down -- I don't think it's a Google ad, I think it's coming from another ad network. The two that had "Ads by Google" and the url to block have been blocked. :)
