I would like to know if there is a way you can tell if someone has a file open (in use) on the network...

I would like to open a file and change it but I cant open it because it is locked (open by someone else)... Is there a way I can see you has it at the time??

Thanks!

Use the computer management console in Administrative Tools. Under the System Tools heading there is a shared folders section that will show shares, sessions and open files.
