Hello,
i have 2 large sets of data in excel that i need to monitor. they are on the same worksheet. one of them i copy and paste new data on a daily basis and the other i keep a running tab of data that i have extracted from the 1st set. the # of rows are fairly large and many times the data i have in the 2nd set comes up again in the first set on a future date.

i need a macro that will look at the data in the second set and automatically delete any identical rows that it finds from the data in the first set. this will leave the first set with only the fresh data that i need to analyze on a daily basis.

each row has a unique identifier that can be looked up and compared to see if needs to be deleted.

please advise if i am not clear.

attached is a sample spreadsheet. i am using excel 2007

--pls note that row 5 of the 1st set is the same as row 125 in the second set(highlighted in yellow) and row 6 is the same as row 127. IN THIS CASE I NEED ROWS 5 AND 6 TO BE DELETED AND LEAVE ROWS 125 AND 127.

regards
