I have been trying to drag and drop and or copy .EXE into my DVD Rom, however i am getting this error message. It will not open a DVD if clicked on without the error.
D:/ is not accessible- incorrect function. It is a Mat****a DVD-Rom UJ-842 in a Lenovo T 60 Laptop.
I am able to burn ISO images to the DVD's. I can as well read from the DVD's.

To drag and drop files onto a DVD in Windows XP you need special packet writing software install such as Nero's INCD or Roxio's Drag n' Drop, or Sonic's DLA(now part of Roxio). Windows XP only has limited burning capability for CD-R/CD-RW discs, but non for DVD's.

You're better off burning a DVD with either the Lenovo provided software OR a free alternative such as CDBurnerXP: http://cdburnerxp.se/en/home
