I am in the market for a new phone, I really like Panasonic phones but I see there is a new GE 6.0mhz phone http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5230831 and wonder if it is good technology and a Good phone or just marketing. Opinions?

It's a 1.9Ghz phone, not 6Mhz. 6.0 is their marketing speak.
Basically, it's a digital cordless, running on a new(er) band. The 11EE2 looks like the same phone, but without the answering machine.

A coujple of months ago we were looking at getting a new cordless. We had an AT&T with integrated machine, that the battery was dieing on. We tried a new Uniden 5.8Ghz for a couple days, then took it back. I went and bought a battery for the AT&T, as that had more features that the Uniden did. The AT&T is analog at 900Mhz, and suits us just fine.

I think I will go with Panasonic, the 6.0 GE phone has not gotten good reviews.
