Hi!
I was wondering if the following are able to be put into a compaq sr5110nx. Mind you I will be either getting a new HDD or formating the one in it and putting Windows XP Home Edition as the OS,and getting rid of Vista.

HDD:http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3247662&CatId=139
VIDEO CARD:http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4636774
PSU:http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3986693
MEMORY(X2):http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3281625&CatId=3409

Thanks so much for responses!!

Pretty low end video card for whats available today not adequate for modern gaming - but neither is the processor, and the power supply isn't of the the best quality.

Also thats a lot of RAM to be putting into a Windows Xp computer, it won't be able to address more the roughly 3GB of that and likely not benefit much from it above the first 1GB or so.

Thats a lot to be putting into a very basic Compaq system.

I am not looking for the greatest quality,I just want to know if they work on the motherboard and it will work. I will maybe just try 3 GB ram.
Also do you believe this system could play Sims 3? I don't want a new pc

Instead for buying 2 x2GB sticks, just buy one stick of 2GB and use it with the existing RAM in the computer, that way you don't waste anything and still end up with near the maximum usable amount of RAM - 2.5GB versus a little over 3GB, assuming you have the standard 512MB now.
