I was wondering if there was a tool to find out who owns or uses a static ip address. Does anyone know of such a thing?

That sort of thing is private and only given at the ip holders discretionunless law enforcement needs it..

Thanks was just wondering if it was possible. I seached in google and came up with searches that give out where the IP is located and what ISP.

That's about as far as you are going to get unless you have some higher authority.

will tell you which ISP any IP address belongs to.

I have some McAffe Tracer thing where I can type in their URL, IP address, and it will give you their name, ISP, and a whole lot more! It's awesome because there was some one guy that put a bad cookie on my computer so I tracked him and posted everything on a forum.
