i cant open any PDF files and i have uninstallled and re installed SP2 took down my firewall and still nothing... said cannot verify publisher
i need to fix this ASAP some one HELP! ~Indi

Can you redefine the problem, giving the -exact- error message(s)?

You mention "cannot verify publisher" but your post title is Cannot Download ocget.dll file.

Somewhere the two issues will be part of the same, but without all the info it's hard to find.

Also what version of Windows and what version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat?

i get the error message that says cannot download ocget.dll file cause publisher is unknown this comes up as a security error and i cann't read pdf files

However this involves the Registry, and editing that is a risk unless you are comfortable doing such things?

i am in the registry the file is CODEBASE;<http://activex.microsoft.com/objects/ocget.dll>;<http://codecs.microsoft.com/isapi/ocget.dll>
like on that page what do i change it to so that is doesnot query the dll file?
