Hi, I have a iMicro NT-WR54M router. I recently bought a new laptop (Acer Extensa 5230), which I cannot connect to my router. I have my PC and another laptop already connected and working perfectly, but when I try to connect my new laptop to my wireless network, I receive the message: "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks and try to connect again."

My OS is Windows XP in all my computers, including the new laptop. I tried to connect to another wireless network detected by Windows (from a neighbor I suppose), and I can see the windows requesting the username and password. This evidences that the problem is my router that is not allowing the connection of the new laptop.

I really appreciate your help in this regard!

Welcome to TSG.
The first things I would try are:
Disable all firewalls.
Disable encryption.
Check in your router to make sure that mac address filtering has not been enabled.
On the new laptop, take a look at my network places/view network connections/select the wireless connection and view available networks.
We may need more diagnostic data, but let's try the above first.
