[SOLVED] Can receive but not send email / OE
I am using Outlook express 5.0 with IE 5.0 and I get the following error when trying to send an email --The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'wingwheel9', Server: 'smtp.juno.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E I am able to receive however

Thanks sekrit, Tried first suggestion and I connect to their email server and I can not type in USER as instructed, cannot type in anything - tried changing to net and no luck there either
Checked out the link you suggested sekirt and all my settings were fine - I just wonder if it has something to do with juno. I appreciate your time on this matter.
I have the platinum / pay service thru Juno but their tech support charges a fee per minute for support. If I use Juno email I am able to send it's when I log on with Internet Explorer and try to send using Outlook Express I have the problem sending.

Tried to repair IE and was unable to / msr2cenu.dll was missing - I went www.dll.com
and was unable to find it. I reinstalled ie and still had the same problem. Yes I can send email when loggon using junos software.

sekirt - thanks again - I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling ie 5.0 - still can not send
AcaCandy when I downloaded the lastest version of Juno 7.0 outlook express 5.0 installed along with the update and does receive messages fine
It sounds like that may be the problem - I dialup a number with Internet Explorer provided by Juno, but I do not use/go thru their software to connect - thanks acacandy
