Can you confirm that you are connecting to Juno, and not via another internet provider (which would cause that error, to prevent "relaying")

Can you confirm your account name is wingwheel9 (as an account incorrect name will also cause this eror)

Checked out the link you suggested sekirt and all my settings were fine - I just wonder if it has something to do with juno. I appreciate your time on this matter.

Net Zero offers tech support...would assume they offer the same deal thru Juno? Here is the page for NZ that describes the various support options:

http://www.netzero.net/support/support.html

Are you paying for Juno Internet Service or is it the free one? The free one will probably change, starting in June.

After June 1, 2004, if you are a NetZero Free member and you wish to use a dedicated e-mail program such as Outlook Express to send and receive your NetZero e-mail, you will need to upgrade to one of our premium services.

Is it the Juno email that is not sending? I have myrealbox POP3 email and do have it receiving and sending through Net Zero without a problem. Not sure what else to offer right now.

Good idea dtugg.
IE repair can be done from either location:
1) Go to Start. Click Run. Type: msinfo32
When it opens, Click Tools. Click Internet Explorer Repair Tool.

2) Control Panel. Add/Remove programs.

It may tell you that you can't repair, in which case you will have to reinstall. Settings/emails, etc; should be unaffected.

Do you have some other way of sending emails from that computer? It is possible that a firewall might be causing the problem. You could try turning off your firewall to check. When I had Sygate firewall, I had some similar problems and had to uninstall it and then reinstall it.

Notice your error code on port: 25.

Are you trying to send Juno e-mail from another ISP or Internet connection?

If you are logged on to another ISP, you will be able to receive your Juno mail, but not send it. In order to send your Juno mail, you will need to log on to Juno by dialing an access number through our software. Port 25 (the port used for sending e-mail) is blocked to prevent spamming. What this means is that while you are connected to another ISP, you will be unable to send e-mail through our mail servers. This type of spam-prevention is common among many ISPs.

If you wish to send e-mail using another ISP or Internet connection, you will need to set up your e-mail program to use your ISP's outgoing mail server (SMTP). Contact your ISP's support department for more information.

Remember, you can always use Juno E-mail on the Web, which will work from any location around the world. You can access E-mail on the Web at http://webmail.juno.com
