[SOLVED] Burning files with Nero

Having real problems burning mpeg files in Nero...I have version 5.5 and am using the VideoCD application in Wizard interface...I have re-encoded them with TMPGE into MPEG 1 format and they appear to be accepted into the program when it analysises them and all seems fine with the burn until i actually look at the disc when it is supposedly finished and there is nothing on there except a set of files named CDI, EXT, MpegAV, Segment and VCD but no movie....can anyone help please?...all I want to do is store the moviews so i can free up some disc space...What am I doing wrong or is there another way to do it?...I have a re-writable drive but am using plain CD-R discs and it says that I should be anble to store mpegs in VCD format

Howdy Black10101...

If all you are wanting to do is copy the files, you don't need to create a VCD, just copy then over in Nero...

In a VCD the actual movie is in the MpegAV folder with an extension of .dat ( eg: AVSEQ01.DAT ), and can be opened with Media player, just be sure that you uncheck "Allways open with this program"...
Thankyou thankyou thankyou ~LOL~....and once again thankyou...I was just about to ditch 5 discs that i thought were screwed and had nothing on them...worked just as you said
