Hi again, Lynda, look at the motherboard......I can't quite remember if my old Dell had a 'watch' type battery or if it looked more like a 1/2 size AAA battery.......Look around on the motherboard, or perhaps look at your manual....If you don't have your manual handy, Dell has a pretty good reference lookup on their site.
