Hi,

Can you recommend a free back up program? I've had a look on download.com and downloaded one but it's not great. I want something very simple to use and will back up specified folders and will back up on to CD - I have no need for compression either. I also want it to save the folders in exactly the same tree formation as is on my pc. Is this possible and what program can you recommend?

I use a program called GoodSync from the makers of RoboForm. It's free as long as you analyze fewer than 20,000 files per 30 day period.

Tried the nonags link and i need .net framework version 2. I don't want to download that, already have 1.1 and i think 2 is meant for xp 64 as it specifies on the microsoft website.

I don't really understand what you mean by "doesn't it use internet?" I have it set up on my home private network to synchronize files between 3 PCs.
