How in the hell do i set my Outlook Express email up for auto reply???

i use XP

I think I've tried everything....going on vacation in the am and need to figure this out .please assist

Are you using a rule to set it up?
Are you using an .eml file or a .txt file for your reply?

What part of the Reply with message is not working for you?

Let us know.

Hey friend.when I click on reply with message the system wants to take a message from "my documents" when all i want to do is remark that "I'm out of the office blah blah

Create a .txt file with your Remarks and the contents should appear in the body of the Reply message.

Save that .txt file to the My Documents folder and point the rule to that .txt file.

Let us know if that works for you or not.

Use Notepad to create the .txt file.

Right click in a blank area of the My Documents folder and you should see an option for New Text Document

Or in My Documents,
File > New > Text Document

So I take it the auto reply worked.GREAT

I'm in Toronto Canada

It's wierd my cpu clock states 2:36 am but my email times are all F'd up...don't know why???

Thanks for all your help......Sounds like you got the auto reply??

Yes, I received the Auto Reply as well as the message you sent.

I noticed the Auto Reply is not including the original message, will that be a problem?

Your Profile on this board shows your default time is now 6:41 am give or take a few minutes
