HOBOcs,
I'm investigating a PC (win98SE) that keeps rebooting into Safemode.
Ran a few tests and HJT and came across "Solidpeer" not sure what it is.
... I'm googling now but can't seem to find much... assume it to be a piece of software to eliminate ads in a peer to peer software package.
Assume it to be bad anyway and will try to uninstall. Looks like it came with wintools and win toolbar search. (I cleaned this pc the 1st of December so I recognize some new stuff that wasn't in my log).
Interesting, AVG is reporting an error Driver (core) not Found - winerr=2.
Uninstalled AVG 6.0 and it appears to log into normal windows. (I'm will load AVG 7 and check for viruses. I'm concerned something may have scuttled AVG. (For what it's worth - sorry to use this as a blog)
