Hi,
Am trying to install the Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing software version 12 on my laptop. The software installs fine except it does not install a file. That file is necessary to create a user when u r signing in for the first time. It gives me the following error.

Could not create file for system setting C:\Document and settings\Administrator\My document\The Learning Company\ Mavis Beacon SE\MAVUSER\System.msy

Hi,
Are you using an account apart from the administrator one (especially in Windows XP Home). If so, then you probably don't have permission to install files into someone else's documents folder.
