Hey guys,
Merry Xmas & Happy New Year. Hope it was a fun & safe time for you all.

Well down to business.

Since getting back from holiday, my computer is running slower & slower.
I have had to run a couple of online scans, (as my own antivirus/spyware programs dont seem to be able to pick them up) and they are finding: Smitfraud, Dopewars & Adwareloader.
I played around with Adwareloader for a while, but not sure if I removed it completely.
I have pasted HiJack this report below.
Hope you can help.

Run ActiveScan online virus scan:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm

Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button.
A new window will open...click the Check Now button.
Enter your Country.
Enter your State/Province.
Enter your e-mail address and click send.
Select either Home User or Company.
Click the big Scan Now button.
If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it.
It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan.
When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Post the contents of the ActiveScan report.

Hey Cheeseball,
My apologies, should have looked at the scan more closely, didnt notice the 'fix' after the word smitfraud. Starting to show my age I think, may need glasses.

Anyway to answer your question, I have 512Mb RAM.

System seems to be slowing down on start-up and I when I go to the Internet, I can no longer connect through my Mozilla (double clicking on icon). I have to go to 'Start', then go through 'Connect To' to get access. Once I connect and go and try to open Mozilla, it will tell me that page cannot be found and to check my connection. I just close it down and open again and usually it will be ok.

Hey Cheeseball,
I think I may have finally found the problem.
I have run several CWShredder scans over the past couple of weeks and it says it has found and removed CWS.JKsearch & CWS.HiddenDll.
If I run the scan again it will find these things once more and tell me that they have been removed again.
But then I'll run the scan again and it keeps telling me the same things have been found and removed. But I dont think it is removing them at all.
Whats your opinion??
Is there some way of getting rid of these problems?

Hey Cheeseball,
This is the 4th time I have tried to send this reply to you.
Hope this one gets through.
Have done as you requested. BitDefender came up empty, but the results are below.
Just to let you know, I have run CWShredder again before posting this reply and it has come up with the same results as in previous thread.

What location does CWShredder find these items?

Rescan with Hijack This.
Close all browser windows except Hijack This.
Put a check mark beside these entries and click "Fix Checked".

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [spywarebot] C:\Program Files\SpywareBot\SpywareBot.exe -boot

O20 - AppInit_DLLs: ?,

Reboot.

Find and delete this folder: C:\Program Files\SpywareBot
